Plain White T's

Chicago-area five-piece Plain White T's spent nearly a decade on the road playing a fast-paced brand of pop punk before success rained down in the form of an unlikely but massive hit. "Hey There Delilah," originally recorded for the band's follow-up album in 2005, featured Tim Higgenson singing a plaintive ode to a distant love over a spare guitar part. The song became a regional hit, but it wasn't until 2007 that the song--rereleased as the second single for their major label debut, EVERY SECOND COUNTS--climbed to number one.
