'Hotel Paper' is the follow-up to Michelle Branch's debut album 'The Spirit Room' which was released in 2002. Acoustic guitars are fused with piano-led vocals to give an adult contemporary pop sound, reminiscent of Melissa Etheridge and Alanis Morissette. Produced by John Shanks and Greg Wells, the album features contributions from Sheryl Crow, Dave Navarro and Scott Weiland.
